A large firm of consulting engineers seeks a Senior Highways Technician to join their team working from offices in the West Sussex bordering with Surrey area. You will work as part of a team and will have responsibility for the production of the design drawings for all aspects of the highways design on a range of projects. You will undertake aspects of scheme design from inception, through to detailed design and the provision of support to the construction team. You will contribute to delivering designs to programme and budget. You will need experience of producing highways drawings using AutoCAD 2006 / 2007 and Microstation Version 8/XM and you will be familiar with MX, Autosign, Autotrack and PDSLine software. An understanding of highway design principles and experience of the design of highways or infrastructure schemes plus current knowledge of the Highways Agency's DMRB and SHW is essential. You will be a Technician member of the ICE or have equivalent experience and qualifications.
