My client a large specialist contractor with dedication and passion in the field of ultra-luxurious and high quality yacht interiors are now seeking a Contracts/ Project Operational Manager to work in Dubai. You will report directly to Senior Management. You should have a bachelors degree in Project Management, Architecture or Engineering OR should have relevant qualifications in Production Management (Interiors Fit Out) with substantial years of professional experience as a site construction manager/contracts manager specializing in Interior Fit out of Super/Mega yachts. You should have strong experience in project costing and scheduling, preparing responses to proposals, bid preparation, and tendering techniques, contracts management as well as procurement management. You have a complete and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the designated project which includes and is not limited to the contract and the scope of works. You will Develop and maintain the project schedule and requesting and distributing information in a timely manner and to ensure that full compliance to the contract is adhered. You will be work together with the Design Coordinator and provide all the required information so as he or she can complete their tasks. Managing and monitoring all sub contractors work for compliance to their contract. You will be liaise with the planning department in regards to all design, engineering, production, logistic and installation scheduling and liaise with the commercial department and in particular the assigned Quantity Surveyor for the project on all variations and subsequent cost implications. You will prepare, monitor and track all PCO’s (Proposed Change Orders) and CO’s (Change Orders) in accordance with the companies polices and procedures. You must be commercially oriented with extended years of professional experience as a Project Manager in Interior fit-out of yachts. You have strong experience in project costing and scheduling, preparing responses to proposals.
