My client is one of the largest building and civil engineering contractors in Bahrain who have been responsible for many of the prestigious buildings in the country for both public and private clients. They are now seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors. The projects you will be working on are multi storey, villas/compounds. You must be Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction. You will have at least fifteen years of experience in a contracting company. GCC experience will be an advantage. You will be performing risk, value management and cost control. Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks and preparing tender and contract documents, including BOQs. You will be ensuring accurate assessments of final costs and that variations/claims are prudently manage. You will be reviewing invoices to ensure conformity of billing format, correct scope and amounts. Correspondences contract administration, contractual support, identification and securing addition works, cost control and reduction. You will be advising on procurement strategy and on contractual claims. You are familiar with Civil Engineering conditions of contract and subcontracts within GCC countries.
