Our client, a leading PMC now require a Lead Piping Engineer to join their established team in Kuwait City. You will report to the Engineering Manager and the main purpose of the role is to manage the review & approval of the assigned EPC contractors work scope to cover:- selected drawings, data, specifications and calculations; selected inspection & test plants, procedures and the like and to report on deviations and recommend on adoption of corrective actions, in conjunction with the Engineering Manager. This will also entail trips to fabrication facilities to witness inspections and tests as may be required. Suitable candidate will have good experience of oil & gas / process projects and must be of western nationality. You will also need to have a BSc in a relevant engineering discipline i.e. mechanical, structural etc. with more than twelve years post graduate experience with at least ten years of that being on major petrochemical (preferably LNG) facilities.
