A great opportunity for an ambitious CHARTERED STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join my client, a successful firm of consulting engineers in NORTH LONDON as an ASSOCIATE DESIGNATE.

You will working on a wide range of projects for residential and commercial clients.

You will do design, running projects, managing a small team of engineers and technicians, help with business development and networking and become an integral part of the overall management of the firm.


Our client is a successful firm of consulting engineers workng on civil, structural, and building surveying.

Current projects include hotels, offices, high value private residential etc.

They offer excellent ongoing training and CPD.


You will need to have a Degree / Masters in Civil or Structural Engineering. You will also be Chartered with MIStructE, MICE or similar.

You will have three years or more post qualification experience and have worked on a variety of building types for new build and refurbishment.

You will need to have good technical skills.

Good communication skills are essential to be able to deal with clients and the professional team.

You will be computer literate.

You will be keen to get involved with helping the firm to grow and getting involved in helping the Directors with business development and networking.

You will need to be highly ambitious and keen to quickly become full Associate and move up to a Director.

You will have some previous experience of managing others.

Salary is negotiable according to experience.
