Salary / Rate: £75000 to £80000 per annum plus pension and other benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for an ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER with experience of high value capital projects for the construction of laboratories, R&D facilities, universities, hospitals etc.
You should have gained experience ideally with known firms of construction consultants or similar and you will ideally to be chartered.
Experience of the full project management role from inception to project delivery is essential.
My client is a successful construction and property consultants who work on a variety of high value and complex projects for laboratories, hospitals, R&D facilities and universities.
Currently my client has two offices in the U.K.
THE CANDIDATE / DUTIES
My client is now seeking an Associate Project Manager who can project manage the whole construction process from defining the sope of the project right through to project delivery on site.
You will ideally be chartered i.e. MRICS, MCIOB, MICE or similar and ideally MAPM too.
In addition you should have a Construction related Degree and possibly a further project management qualification too.
The ideal candidate will already be working at Associate level and be able to lead a small team.
You will need to have the following experience:-
Been responsible for multiple projects have undertaken project planning, design management, management of procurement, construction management and supervision.
You will need to be able to manage and oversee the program and budget.
You should have experience of the supervision and coordination of external consultants.
You will coordinate with clients, officials, consultants and contractors, and also attend meetings as required.
You must have a good understanding of risk management including identification, management, mitigation and risk transfer.
You will need to have gained good experience and understanding of various forms of contract and have experience of contract administration.
You will have the ability to control day to day programming and planning, monitoring progress and expenditure of projects.
You must have excellent communication skills and at this level also be happy to become involved in networking and business development to expand new opportunities and to lead bids and presentation teams.
Salary in the region of £75000 to £80000 per annum pension and other benefits.
