My client is seeking a BUILDING PERFORMANCE MODELLER from an MEP Building Services Engineering background to join their London office.
A background in Building Services is essential and you are also going to have used IES VE plus TAS, AutoCAD and possibly REVIT.
You will be involved in general simulation modelling such as daylighting, energy and the production of reports in support of planning and BREEAM applications including HEA01 and HEA03
My client is a forward thinking firm of multi disciplinary consulting engineers with four UK offices.
They are working on projects for a good range of clients.
They offer good prospects for the right candidate who will work closely with their Building Services and Sustainability teams.
You will be a BUILDING PERFORMANCE MODELLER with at least two or more years experience.
You will have worked for either another firm of consulting engineers or a major contractor doing building performance modelling.
You should have experience in the use of IES VE and experience in using AutoCAD, TAS and ideally have some REVIT experience too.
You will have a Degree or HND or HNC or equivalent in Building Services Engineering, Sustainable Energy, Climate control or similar.
You will have IES Level 4 VE0DSM Accreditation as well as Level 4 BER Assessor Accreditation or higher.
You may be a member of working towards becoming CIBSE and a Low Carbon Consultant or similar.
You will need to have excellent written and spoken communication skills to metin with client, contractors and similar and be able to deal with people at all levels.
Salary is very negotiable according to level of experience and there is a pension contribution and a bonus.
