A great opportunity for a SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER with experience of INFRASTRUCTURE MASTER PLANNING to join my client in their Buckinghamshire office.
Experience of flood risk, highways and sewerage essential for pre purchase feasibility studies, liaison with Environment Agency, Local lead Flood Authorities, Regional Highway and Sewerage authorities etc.
Manage a team of graduates and also own workload.
Our client is a successful firm of consulting engineers working on civil engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transport engineering etc.
They offer excellent ongoing training and CPD.
You will need to have a Degree in Civil Engineering or an HNC or HND with a number of years relevant experience.
You will undertake pre-purchase feasibility studies and resolution of planning conditions including drainage feasibility and highways considerations. Knowledge of design and implication of flood risk assessments and SUD’s techniques advantageous.
You will exercise due care and diligence in all aspects of engineering design and detailing.
You will attend meetings with clients, external agencies e.g. Environment Agency, Regional Highways Authorities and Sewerage authorities etc.
Experience of AutoCAD / Autodesk Civil 3D preferred or similar.
You should have working experience of FRAs Suds and Pre Planning Advice.
You will have working experience of drainage and highway design and detailing to S38, S278 and S104 agreements.
You will have working experience of MicroDrainage WinDES, Tuflow, HECRAS etc.
