I am now seeking an experienced CONTRACTS MANAGER who needs to speak & write fluent SPANISH & ENGLISH.

Experience in the use of FIDIC is essential along with previous experience of contracts management on heavy civils projects.

You will be based in my client’s office in Paris but will travel as required to site in Central & South America.


My client is a large firm specialising mainly in water related projects. They work on projects worldwide.


You will be a Contract Manager from a civils background with experience in the use of FIDIC.

You must have fluency in both SPANISH & ENGLISH. Although this role is largely based in France (French not required) – there will be a need for travel to Central & South America therefore fluent Spanish is absolutely essential – both written and spoken.

You must have experience of reviewing of contracts, preparation and valideation of subcontract agreements.

Also experience of the provision of support for engineering and supply chain functions in the preparation, checking and valideation of the production of Bills of Quantity and methods of measurement.

Provision of expert support in identifying, assessing and producing functional systems, tools and templates for civil works.

You will provide proposals support; undertaking contract management reviews of bid contracts and identification of risks for consideration within Civil Works Subcontracts. Also preparation of Contract Management Plans for Civil Works Subcontrats and ad hoc support for Civil Works Subcontracts and negotiations.

You will provide support to specific projects and Business Units as required. Remote Contract Management for specific projects and do Claims production and management support on specific projects.

You will assist in the development of Civil Works Subcontract templates and assist in the development of Contract Management tools and templates etc.

You must have a suitable qualification i.e. Degree in Quantity Surveying and have sound knowledge of FIDIC along with experience in civil works and good knowledge of Standard Methods of Measurement.

You must have at least ten years or more experience in the Contract Management of construction projects for contractors and experience in civil works both remeasurable and Lump Sum Civil Works.

Experience of re-measurement of civil contracts required.

Salary is around 100,000 Euro per annum plus bonus of around 20% and other benefits will also be provided, possibly some help towards housing in Paris.
