An urgent requirement for an experienced DELAY ANALYST / FORENSIC PLANNER to join my client on a contract basis in Dubai to work on your own initiative for a range of project types including highways, rail, high rise buildings etc.
My client is a firm of consultants specialising in construction claims and disputes and delay analysis.
They now have an opportunity for a Delay Analyst / Forensic Planner to join them ASAP based in Dubai on a contract basis for a period of around 2 months but could be more.
You will work closely with clients, so good communication in English is essential (written and spoken).
You will have an appropriate construction related Degree plus you may be chartered e.g. MCIOB, MICE or similar and you may also have a further construction law qualification.
You should have a western education and have worked in the UK, Ireland and hold a British or Irish passport.
You will need to be fully proficient in the the use of Primavera P6 to deal with assessment of the impact of variations on the programme.
You will also need experience of critical path analysis, report writing and have a good eye for detail to be able to investigate why the programme of a project has become delayed.
It is essential to have previous experience of delay and ideally have experience of doing report writing etc. plus good all round knowledge of construction technology, be Degree qualified and have excellent written and spoken English with experience gained working for a main contractors doing delay or with another firm of claims / dispute consultants.
You will need excellent client facing skills and be able to work either on your own initiative or as part of a team.
My client is only interested in people who have worked extensively as Delay Analysts / Forensic Planners – they are NOT seeking people who have mainly worked as a Planner having done a bit of delay!!
Rate is in the region of £70 – £80 per hour plus accommodation and flights will be provided.
