Location: Barnet, North London
Salary / Rate: £36000 per annum + pension and other benefits
My client now seeks an experienced DEVELOPMENT TRAVEL PLAN CO-ORDINATOR to join their Barnet office.
You should have similar experience with a background most likely in Transport Planning or Travel Planning.
Our client is a large multi discipline firms of construction and engineering consultants with offices right across the U.K.
They provide a range of transport planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure design services and more for projects across the U.K.
Duties:- Oversee the assessment of and co-ordination plus implementation and montiroing of Travel Plans for businesses, residents etc. including the monitoring of DTP development etc.
You will lead on developer negotiations through the development control process to secure outcome based travel plans, which reduce the need for additional car borne trips and establish more sustainable travel patterns.
You will assist with the assessment of planning applications and the discharge of conditions and obligations.
You will manage budge preparation and the monitoring of relevant set budgets to ensure Best Value.
You will manage and monitor and report on relevant performance indicators.
You will be responsible for the preparation of Development Travel Plan related marketing communications and related material including drafting press and publicity material.
You will produce management and Committee reports, technical documents and statistics in relation to Development Travel Plans.
You must have thorough experience and knowledge in travel planning or transport planning.
You will need to have a Degree in Travel Planning, Transport Planning or very similar.
You will have knowledge of current legislation.
You must be able to programme, supervise and monitor several projects concurrently.
You should have experience of monitoring and managing budgets.
Salary in the range of £36000 plus pension etc..
