I am now seeking a SENIOR EMPLOYER’S AGENT / PROJECT MANAGER to join my client based from their office near to MAIDSTONE, KENT with travel around the South East as required by the role.
The role will be made up mostly of Employer’s Agent duties with around 15% working as Principal Designer.
My client is a dynamic firm of Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Project Management consultants with several UK offices.
They are working on a range of new build housing and mixed use projects, mainly in the public sector and with some private sector clients too.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the pre and post contract delivery of various new build housing projects.
The role will be a good opportunity to get involved in a variety of different aspects of the project and with the opportunity of identifying and developing potential new business.
You must be able to demonstrate a background of delivering new build housing projects for Registered Providers with a strong approach to cost and also quality control.
You should be able to manage your own workload and be capable of managing others. In addition you should have experience of delivering mixed tenure and mixed use developments and advising the Client throughout the entire construction process.
You should have a good commercial brain and be able to advise Clients throughout the options appraisal phase. Your background could be in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or Project Management and it is essential that you have some appropriate experience of the Employer’s Agent / Project Management role.
Some previous experience of Principal Designer (CDM-C) is required too.
Salary will be from around £50000 to £70000 per annum plus very negotiable benefits package.
