THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER who is keen to join a large firm of specialist design and construction contractors based from their Surrey office with some international and UK travel as required.

You will be Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Building Construction, either chartered or almost chartered and with good experience of construction practices from inception, design and delivery on site.

THE CLIENT

The client is a large specialist firm who design and construction firm who combine project management, building design and the integration of training and simulation for unique miltary and police facilities on a global basis.

THE CANDIDATE

My client is now seeking a Project Manager to join them in their Farnha,, Surrey office.

You will need to have a Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Construction and ideally be either chartered or almost chartered with around six years or more experience.

Duties and responsibilities will include being familiar with all construction processess and overall architectural and engineering design processes from conceptual design and budget through construction documents, on-site construction, final completion and defects liability.

You will attend design review meetings to ensure construction design documents are coordinated.

You will woordinate with engineering, contracts, logistics and other team members to ensure training systems designs are compatible with facilities deisng and constructed on program and within budget.

You will privde overall design, engineering and management direction on design and / or build for inddor and outdoor shooting range and training facility projects and ensure compliance with local, national and international safety, electrical, HVAC, lighting, fire suppression and building management systems safety.

You will coordinate all elements of specialist fit-out design, testing and equipment installation, including but not linited to bullet traps, balistic finishes, range ventilation, targetry, simulation, monitoring and safety systems, range management systems, forece tracking and tactival engagement systems.

You will participate on proposal projects to the extent necessary to develop concepts, layouts, budgets and written documentation needed to meet the requirements identified in the proposal.

You will assist in development of internal facilities optimization plans to improve work flow for future and ongoin business.

You may manage multiple smaller projects or serve as top on-site management for a single large project.

You will undertake project, cost control and management reporting as required.

Salary for this role is in the region of £45000 to 50000 per annum + good benefits and good prospects
