Salary / Rate: £45000 to £70000 per annum + pension and other benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER who is keen to join a firm of construction consultants based in their Central London office with visits to site, client, consultants offices as required.
Your background should be in construction consultants or a main contractor with initial training in quantity surveying, building surveying or construction project management, construction management etc. and you will have gained at least four years or more project management experience in the construction industry.
Projects are varied and generally of high value and my client is involved in prestigious landmark developments across the London area.
My client is a dynamic and successful firm of construction consultants who have a broad base of clients mainly in the private sector.
They provide clients mainly in the private sector with project management, employer’s agent, programme management and development management services.
They are working on a good range of projects including high value residential, commercial, mixed use, infrastructure and more.
My client is now seeking a Project Manager to join them in their Central London office.
You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in a Construction /Built Environment subject and will be ideally MRICS / MAPM / MCIOB qualified.
You will need to have experience of working for another firm of consultants or for a main contractor and will ideally have front end project management experience plus be able to deal with the project through to project delivery.
You will need to have excellent organisation and client facing skills along with being highly computer literate.
You should be able to work on your own or as part of a team.
You must be able to run your own projects on a small scale or work with a Senior PM or Associate on larger projects, representing the client, offering advice to project manage the design and construction teams from initial concept through to final handover.
Experience to do the preparation of client’s brief including project programme, detailed project budget, cash flows etc. You will draft and make presentations to management teams within various organisations.
Salary for this role is in the region of £45000 to around £70000 per annum + pension and benefits.
