Salary / Rate: £40000 to £55000 per annum + benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER who is keen to join a small firm of construction consultants based in their City of London office with visits to site, client, consultants offices as required.
Your background should be in construction consultants, end user client or developer with initial training in quantity surveying, building surveying or construction project management, construction management etc. and you will have gained at least four years or more project management experience in the construction industry.
Projects include office fit outs, retail and hotel valued from £250K to around £15m.
My client is a small successful firm of construction consultants who have a broad base of clients mainly in the private sector.
They provide clients in the private and public sectors with project management, employer’s agent and cost management services.
My client is now seeking a Project Manager to join them in their City of London office to work on office fit outs, retail and hotel projects. Projects include fit out, refurbishment and new build valued to around £15m.
You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in a Construction /Built Environment subject and will be ideally MRICS / MAPM / MCIOB qualified or working towards becoming chartered.
You will need to have experience of working for another firm of consultants or for an end user client or developer and you will ideally have front end project management experience plus be able to deal with the project from inception through to project delivery.
You will need to have excellent organisation and client facing skills along with being highly computer literate.
You should be able to work on your own or as part of a team.
You should be good at writing programmes, managing the professional team and have a pro-active view to project management in the construction industry.
Salary for this role is in the region of £40000 to £55000 per annum + benefits.
