Salary / Rate: £50000 to £55000 per annum + benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER who is keen to join a successful firm of construction consultants in their clients’ office to work on a number of hospital projects, to run your own projects and supervise and Assistant where required.
There are projects across a number of hospitals including new build, extension, upgrade and fit out.
Support will be given to become chartered if your are not already chartered.
The client is a firm of construction consultants with four offices in the U.K. They work on project management and cost management across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, energy, industrial, education and more.
Our client is expanding and offers good prospects for ambitious people to move up within the firm.
My client is now seeking a Project Manager to work based from their clients’ office in Manchester with site visits as required.
You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, Architecture or Civil / Structural Engineering or similar and you may already be MAPM, MRICS or similarly qualified however, if you have good experience but are not yet chartered support will be given towards such qualification.
You should have gained around four years or more experience in Project Management in the construction industry and ideally you will have worked for another firm of consultants, healthcare provider, health authority or similar.
Previous experience of hospital projects is preferred.
You will need to have excellent organisation and client facing skills along with being highly computer literate.
You should be able to run your own projects and to manage an assistant PM as required.
A U.K. driving licence and your own vehicle will be required for this role.
