Salary / Rate: £50000 to £55000 per annum + pension, car allowance etc.
I am seeking a Project Manager / PMO Manager to join a large firm of construction consultants based in BLACKBURN, Lancashire.
You will need to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams and have good experience of identifying the client brief, and working with the client to design the project brief for it to be submitted to tender etc.
Projects include cinema complexes, and other commercial and leisure projects.
My client is long established firm of multi disciplinary construction, engineering and property consultants.
They have a large number of UK offices.
They provide a variety of services to their clients which includes Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Engineering and other construction related roles.
You will need to have a Degree in a construction subject and ideally be chartered i.e. MRICS or similarly qualified or almost qualified.
You should have experience of Prince2 and have excellent client-side project management experience.
You must understand and have experience of a range of construction projects through all RIBA stages of work.
You will also have gained experience in the use of JCT contracts, NEC Contracts plus design and build and risk management.
You will be responsible for leading the Gateway Reviews at the end of each RIBA stage.
Ideally you will have worked for one of the large firms of construction project management consultants in a similar role.
You should also have gained experience of managing a team.
Salary to £55000 plus car allowance, pension and other benefits.
