I am now seeking an enthusiastic Project Monitor / Development Fund Monitor to join the Monitoring team.
You will be a chartered Building Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager and ideally have some previous monitoring experience.
My client is a large multi disciplinary firm of construction consultants offering clients a wide range of services with a busy and growing department specialising in Project Monitoring.
They have offices covering the UK and work with a good range of clients in the private and public sectors and with a good range of banks and financial associations.
You will need to have a Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or Project Management qualification i.e. Degree, Diploma and be MRICS qualified and have gained good experience of doing the Monitoring role for new build developments working on behalf of the Banks and other lenders.
You will work as part of a team and you will have the opportunity of further developing your career.
You will review the development proposals to ascertain the project viability mainly from a construction point of view providing essential advice on cost procurement, programme and security documentation.
You will also look at life cycle and facilities management aspects.
You will work on behalf of the funder and work throughout the project lifecycle performing a monitoring role on behalf of the lender, tracking and reviewing risks and project performance, often with a primary liability to certify drawdowns, whilst protecting the funds secured status.
My client needs someone who has excellent communication skills ideally with some experience of development monitoring.
Salary in the region of £50000 to £80000 per annum (depending on experience) plus car allowance, pension, healthcare and other benefits plus excellent prospects.
