Salary / Rate: £30000 to £35000 per annum + 5-10% bonus and pension
I am now seeking a Quantity Surveyor at Project Surveyor who is likely to be PRE APC for a new London office of an establsihed firm of chartered quantity surveying consultants.
Our client is a successful and growing firm of consultants offering clients quantity surveying and project management services.
They are working on a good range of projects mainly for private sector clients including restaurants, offices, pubs, leisure etc.
My client has a 100% success rate in getting quantity surveyors through the APC on the first try and full support will be given to candidates who already have QS experience.
They now have three UK offices.
I am now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor at Project Surveyor level and you will ideally be working currently towards taking your APC to become chartered with the RICS.
You will work as part of a their new London office on projects across the U.K.
You will need to have a good Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar and have around 18 months to 5 years experience working for another firm of private practice QS’s.
You will be involved in both Pre and Post Contract duties on a number of projects including cost planning, tendering, site valuations, cost reporting, cost management and agreement of final accounts.
You will be involved in the full project process from initial client engagement through to project delivery.
Any previous experience of working on retail or food and beverage sector projects would be useful but is not essential.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with clients.
As projects are not just London based you should have a full clean UK driving licence. There is the use of a pool car when required.
Salary will be in the region of £30000 to £35000 plus pension contribution, and an annual bonus of 5 – 10% of salary.
