Salary / Rate: £50000 to £60000 per annum + range of company benefits
I am now seeking a SENIOR BID WRITER for a main contractors in the construction industry based in Hertfordshire.
The client is a main contractor with a good reputation in the construction industry.
They are involved in a range of projects which includes education, housing, commercial and more.
They work on projects for clients in the private and public sectors.
As the Senior Bid Writer you will report to the Bic Manager.
You will ideally be Degree qualified in a construction / built environment subject or similar.
You should have a number of years bid writing and bid management experience and have strong English language skills – both written and spoken.
You should be able to work to tight deadlines and be able to work as part of a team.
You should have experience of coordinating, inputting and dealing with responses for pre-qualification questionnaires.
You should be able to identify and re-work existing pre-written content in line with specific questions and bespoke to individual client requirements.
You will provide advice and guidance to colleagues on site bisits from and interviews with potential clients.
You will apply client bid feedback to future responses to drive improvement.
You must be able to understand and apply public procurement legislation and other relevant policies to written responses.
Salary to c. £60K plus excellent benefits and good prospects.
