THE ROLE

I am now seeking an MRICS qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for a firm of PQS site based in THE BAHAMAS to work on a large hotel complex.

The project will include refurbishment, upgrades, extensions and more and the final value could be up to US$100m.

You should be able to work without supervision and be able to integrate with the project management team, contractors and the client.

THE CLIENT

My client is a firm of private practice quantity surveying consultants a number of offices worldwide.

They work across a wide range of project types including hotels, offices, residential and more.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a SENIOR CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR / COST MANAGER and you must be MRICS qualified to join them for this role in THE BAHAMAS.

We are only seeking British or Canadian candidates or QS’s from the Commonwealth.

You will need to have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar and have already gained chartered status and have from four years or more post chartered experience.

You must have worked for another firm of consultant quantity surveyors at Senior Cost Manager / Senior QS level and have gained experience of both pre and post contract duties including cost plans, cost estimating, budget control, cost reporting, variations, take offs and site measurement.

This role in the Bahamas is initially for a 12 month period although may be extended further, then you could move on with the company to one of their USA or British offices.

Salary in the region of US$100000 to US$130000 per annum plus accommodation, medical insurance, flights, bonus etc.
