Salary / Rate: £45000 to £55000 per annum + pension, fees and other benefits
I am seeking a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER to join a large dynamic firm of construction and engineering consultants in their BRISTOL office.
Ideally you will be MRICS or MAPM or similarly chartered or working towards becoming chartered as a project manager.
Projects are very varied and generally of high value and include residential master plans, universities, concert halls, arenas and more.
A background of working for another firm of PQS/ PM consultants or multi disciplinary consultants is essential with a good understanding and experience in the construction industry.
Our client is a large successful firm of multi discipline construction and consultants.
Their clients are in the private and public sectors.
You will be a Senior Project Manager with several years or more experience in the construction industry, who is ideally already chartered or working towards becoming MRICS, MAPM or CIOB qualified with a construction / built environment degree and relevant experience.
You may be working for another firm of UK firm of PQS / PM construction consultants or multi disciplinary firm of construction consultants. PLEASE NOTE that this client is NOT seeking people who have only been working for firms of contractors.
Ideally you will already have worked on a range of high value building projects.
You will be involved in running projects from inception to project delivery so experience of front end project management on high value construction projects is essential.
You must be able to drive projects forward and “make things happen” for projects to complete on time and within budget.
Good knowledge of various forms of UK building contracts including NEC3 and JCT and good experience of administering building contracts is essential.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with clients.
Salary is in the region of £45000 to £55000 negotiable plus pension, health insurance, life assurance and other benefits.
