I am now seeking an enthusiastic Senior Project Monitor / Development Fund Monitor to join as the Sole Monitor to help grow this service for a known practice in their London office.
You will join as the sole dedicated Monitor and you will help to grow this service within the firm offering great prospects for an ambitious person.
My client is a specialist firm of construction consultants offering clients several services with a busy and growing department specialising in Project Monitoring.

You will need to have a Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or Project Management qualification i.e. Degree, Diploma and be MRICS qualified and have gained good experience of doing the Monitoring role for new build developments working on behalf of the Banks and other lenders.
You will join as the sole dedicated Monitor although other employees do this as part of their roles on a daily basis.
You will have the opportunity of working closely with a Partner and helping to grow this already successful service in to a larger department.
You will review the development proposals to ascertain the project viability mainly from a construction point of view providing essential advice on cost procurement, programme and security documentation.
You will also look at life cycle and facilities management aspects.
You will work on behalf of the funder and work throughout the project lifecycle performing a monitoring role on behalf of the lender, tracking and reviewing risks and project performance, often with a primary liability to certify drawdowns, whilst protecting the funds secured status.
My client needs someone who has excellent communication skills and who is keen to move in to the monitoring role.
