Salary / Rate: £30000 to £40000 per annum + car allowance, pension etc.
I am now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor MRICS to run a large building project in BELFAST.
It is essential that you have worked for PQS firms and for this role good post contract cost management is essential.
Good experience of all round cost management, being able to supervise a small team as required.
You will also work as part of a multidisciplinary team doing feasibility studies, procurement and undertaking construction stage cost management.
Our client is a successful firm of multi disciplinary construction and engineering consultants.
They are working on a good range of projects for clients in the private and public sectors.
They have a large number of offices across the U.K.
You will need to be MRICS qualified or equivalent.
You need to have a BSC or MSc in Quantity Surveying.
You will need to have at least five years or more experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
You should have pre and post contract experience and ideally have worked for another firm of construction consultants / PQS.
You must be able to take responsibility for the full cost management of multi-million pound post contract works including reporting to the Client and be able to work with minimal supervision.
You should have good understanding of contracts and making sure that they are administered correctly.
You will also need good pre contract experience to be able to take a brief from clients and deal with all pre contract work too.
Salary in the region of £30000 to £40000 plus pension and many other benefits.
