THE ROLE
I am seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor at Senior Project Surveyor level to join a PQS in the London SE1 area.
You will work on new build, refurbishment, fit out of high value commercial (offices and hotels), high rise residential and mixed use plus some retail and also data centre projects.
Most projects are in the UK however my client is seeing some requirement for projects in the EU.
You should be able to run your own projects and supervise others when required.
THE COMPANY
My client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management and MEP Quantity Surveying plus Project Management services across a range of sectors.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry.
You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry. Ideally you will have worked on high value projects.
You will need to be MRICS qualified with several years post qualification experience.
You must have worked as a QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.
You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.
You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.
Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience but will be in the range of £65000 to £78000 per annum plus pension, RICS fees, health insurance, interest free season ticket loan, discounts from various retailers, discretionary bonus etc.
