I am now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor, MRICS qualified to work join my client in Birmingham.
You should be ambitious with good client facing skills and be keen to progress your career.
You will work closely supporting one of their developer clients who is working on a number of projects including offices, residential, retail and more all around the West Midlands area.
You should be able to work without supervision and have excellent client facing skills.
Our client is a growing firm of consultants offering clients quantity surveying and Project Management services.
They are working on a good range of projects in the private sector and public sectors for a range of clients.
They currently have several UK offices.
I am now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with around five years or more post qualification experience who has been working for a firm of private practice quantity surveyors, multi disciplinary consultants or similar.
My client seeks an ambitious candidate who can work unsupervised supporting one of their developer clients who is working on a wide range of projects generally valued to around £10m each.
You must be able to run a number of projects concurrently.
You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar subject and be chartered with the RICS.
You will be involved in both Pre and Post Contract duties on a number of projects including cost planning, tendering, site valuations, cost reporting, cost management, contract administration and agreement of final accounts etc.
You will report to a Partner.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with the client.
Salary will be in the region of £50000 to £60000 according to experience plus pension contribution, RICS fees, discretionary bonus etc.
