Salary / Rate: £35000 to £45000 per annum, pension, professional fees
My client now seeks an experienced SENIOR TRANSPORT PLANNER to join their HERTFORDSHIRE office.
You should have five years or more experience of transport planning having worked ideally in the private sector although someone with experience in the public sector will also be considered.
Our client is a large multi discipline firms of construction and engineering consultants with offices right across the U.K.
They provide a range of transport planning, traffic engineering, civil engineering, structural engineering, infrastructure design services for proposals across the U.K.
You will need to have gained at least five years post graduation experience plus of transport planning.
Your experience will ideally have been working closely with private sector clients although public sector may be considered.
Our client is working on many logistics parks and similar so any previous experience as a Transport Planner on similar roles.
You should have a working knowledge of ARCADY AND PICADY and a basic knowledge of LINSIG ideally although training of LINSIG will be provided.
Ideally you will have previous experience of the following duties:- Designing and interpreting travel surveys, writing clear reports and presenting options and recommendations to clients, using statistical analysis to examine travel data or accident records, forming potential solutions to transport problems, developing inital design ideas for new or improved transport infrastructure e.g. juction improvements or pedestrian priority schemes etc.
You should be an enthusiastic transport planner keen to make a name for yourself and to gain responsibility.
Salary in the range of £35000 to £45000 plus benefits.
