A great opportunity for a STRUCTURAL PROJECT ENGINEER to join my client, a growing firm of structural consulting engineers in their City of London office.
You will be a Graduate Engineer with at least four years or more experience of structural engineering design and you will be working towards becoming chartered.
This role offers ambitious candidate great prospects as you will be able to stand in for one of the Partners in his absence.
You will be able to work on prestigious interesting projects in and around the London area.
Our client is a successful firm of consulting engineers mainly working on structural engineering projects.
Projects including interesting glass structures, a range of residential buildings and more.
Our client is expanding and will be seeking larger City offices soon.
You will need to have a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering at 2:1 level and you will need at least four years post graduation experience or more working for a firm of consulting engineers.
You will be working towards becoming chartered or be almost chartered.
You will be keen to join a firm offering innovative design.
Ideally you will have experience of structural design engineering across a range of building projects and our client works on refurbishment, new build and temporary works.
You will need experience of detailed design of reinforced concrete, steel work, masonry and timber building structures plus design of glass structures.
Experience of structural steel work connection design and detailing plus experience of temporary works design.
You should have good written and spoken English to do writing of letters and reports.
Experience of site inspection and surveys and production of drawings and sketches is also required.
Salary is very negotiable according to your experience but likely to be around £35000 to £45000 plus pension, medical insurance, income protection, life assurance, season ticket loan, professional subscriptions etc.
