I am now seeking CIVIL ENGINEERS to join a firm of consulting engineers based in their Birmingham office.

You should have three years or more post graduate experience as a project engineer as they are seeking candidates who are approaching becoming chartered through to engineers already chartered.

Experience in the design of Highways, Roads and Drainage essential and some experience of master planning would be useful.

Great prospects as this large sized firm is expanding the civil engineering team.

Projects are for a range of developments for retail, industrial, commercial and residential and they are also working on some motor racing projects.


Our client is a large sized firm of multi disciplinary consulting engineers.

They are working on high value projects including industrial, education, residential, commercial, motor racing and more.

They have offices world-wide.


You will be a Degree qualified Civil Engineer with at least three years or more post graduate experience working as a design engineer to join them at Project Engineer level or senior level.

You will be either approaching becoming chartered with the ICE or have already achieved chartered status.

You should have good all round experience of to be able to plan, design and manage civil design projects.

You will have experience of highways, roads, drainage projects and possibly also flood risk etc.

Any experience of master planning would be preferred.

Ideally you will have gained varied project experience as my client works on highways, local roads etc. for residential developments, industrial developments, retail and more.

You will be familiar with common highway and drainage sections agreements including S78, S278, S104 and S185.

You should have experience in the use of WinDes and ideally Civils 3D or similar.

You will need to have experience of complex S278 design in particular at senior or principal level and have the ability to produce drainage strategies and zone 1FRAs ideally.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience of AutoCAD.

Good English is a must for report writing.

You will also undertake site feasibility work and have good UK understanding of H&S requirements.

£salary is very negotiable plus good pension contribution and other large company benefits.
