THE ROLE

I am seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor at Associate Cost Manager level to join a PQS in the City of London.

You will work on new build, refurbishment, fit out of high value commercial, workplace, residential, mixed use and retail projects.

You will run your own projects of high value, supervise and mentor other QSs when required, be the key contact for clients, get involved in presentations etc.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management and MEP Quantity Surveying services across a range of sectors.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be either a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager ready to step up to an Associate level role or be an Associate Cost Manager with another firm of construction consultants.

You will need to have good experience of working for another firm of construction consultants or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.

You must be MRICS or similarly qualified with at least five years experience or more.

You must have worked as a QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.

You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.

You should have gained experience of supervising and mentoring other QSs.

You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents and to be the key contact with clients.

Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience but will be in the range of £75000 to £85000 per annum plus pension, RICS fees, health insurance, interest free season ticket loan and bonus.
