THE ROLE

I am seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor from just chartered level upwards to join a dynamic firm of PQS in Kent.

My client has managed to keep busy and even grow during the period of the pandemic and is continuing to grow and will offer great prospects for someone to move up to Senior QS or Associate QS level.

You will work on new build, refurbishment, fit our and masterplanning across projects of various sizes from £500K to c. £80m.

Projects are very varied including refurbishment of London offices, education, healthcare, masterplanning for developers, infrastructure and industrial.

You will run your own projects reporting to a Associate or Partner depending on size of project.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing project management, building surveying and cost management services to private and public sector clients.

They work on projects for education, healthcare, commercial offices, masterplanning, industrial and some infrastructure.

They are currently around twenty people and are looking to grow to around thirty over the next 12 – 18 months offering great prospects for ambitious candidates to move up within the firm.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry.

You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.

You will be from recently chartered level upwards and you must be MRICS qualified.

You must have worked as a QS working on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.

You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.

You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.

Salary is negotiable according to your experience but will be in the range of £50000 to £68000 per annum plus pension, RICS fees and bonus.
