THE ROLE

My client, a small dynamic firm of construction consultants seeks a PROJECT MANAGER to join them in LONDON to work on a range of private sector projects generally valued from £500K to around £100m.

Projects include new build residential, commercial offices, cut & carve, plus commercial extensions, refurbishment and more across London and the South East.

You will carry out the full range of project management duties throughout all stages of the projects from feasibility, acquisition, design, construction, handover etc.

You will work with a Senior or Associate project manager who will also encourage you to work towards becoming chartered with the RICS.

THE CLIENT

My client is a small dynamic firm of construction project management consultants mainly working on private sector projects in and around London.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or another construction / built environment subject.

You are likely to have either started working towards becoming RICS or have recently become chartered.

You will need to have a minimum of around three years or more post graduation relevant project management experience within the construction industry having worked for another firm of construction consultants or with a multi-disciplinary consultants.

You will becoming involved in all aspects of construction projects representing the client from feasibility, through acquisition, design, construction and handover.

You will be keen to carve out a career with a growing firm of construction consultants, be able to run your own projects and be the main contact for clients.

You will need to have a stable work record along with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Salary will be in the region of £40000 to £55000 depending on your experience and there are a number of benefits including pension contribution, health insurance, bonus etc.
