THE ROLE
I am seeking a Project Manager in the Building Construction industry who has at least B2 German and fluent English to join a firm who provide up-market office space for occupiers in Germany and the UK.
You will work on a range of office fit-out projects from Euro 30000 to c. 200,000.
You will also have the opportunity of working on some projects of higher value when the company does a complete refurbishment of a newly acquired building.
You will work on projects from inception through to completion dealing directly with clients, working out the project brief, budgets and design and supervise through to completion.
You should also have a good commercial understanding of budgets, cash flows etc.
THE COMPANY
My client is a firm of serviced office providers working who are expanding in Germany and in the U.K.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be Degree or MSc qualified in a construction related subject e.g. Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering or other Building Construction subject.
You will need to have gained three years experience or more in a building construction related role with several years or project management experience gained working on office fit-outs or fit-outs for hotels or similar.
You should be able to deal with due diligence, review documents and contracts and also work closely with the sales team and prospective occupiers.
You will ideally have been working for a firm of building construction consultants, a fit-out specialist or worked client-side.
You must have excellent communication skills, fluency in English and good German.
Salary is according to experience but in the region of Euro 60000 to 80000 per annum plus bonus and other benefits.
