THE ROLE

I am seeking a Quantity Surveyor from just chartered level or project surveyor level through to someone at Associate QS level to join my client, a firm of PQS in Lisbon, Portugal.

Contracts will be in Portuguese so Portuguese and English are essential (written and spoken).

You will work on new build, refurbishment and extension of hotels, resorts, residential developments and high value private villas.

You will be involved in all pre and post contract work.

You will report to the Associate Director.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management services to a good range of known clients.

They have offices in the UK, EU and Middle East.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry.

You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry or possible for a developer.

You will need to have at least three years or more quantity surveying and cost management experience working on similar high value construction projects.

You should have worked as a QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.

You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.

You must have excellent Portuguese and English, to write formal reports and documents, understand construction contracts and also to be able to communicate with clients and contractors.

Salary is negotiable plus various company benefits.
