THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a firm in their Manchester office at either Senior level or Associate level.

Duties will include undertaking professional and project work for a variety of clients mainly on residential properties with projects valued from around £500K to £26m.

Current projects include re-cladding of high rise buildings, to new build residential and mixed use.

You will need to have good technical experience and a good understanding of construction and property generally.

THE COMPANY

Our client is an international multi disciplinary firm of construction and engineering consultants.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Chartered Building Surveyor with a Degree or Diploma or MSc in Building Surveying plus you will need to be MRICS qualified.

Ideally you will have at least four years post qualification experience or more.

You will need to have broad based experience of both project and professional work with experience of dilapidations, defect analysis, pre-acquisition surveys, technical due diligence plus contract administration, employers agent and some project management.

You will be able to manage less experienced surveyors.

You should have good client facing skills and be able to deal with people at all levels.

A full UK driving licence and own transport is required.

Salary is very negotiable according to your current salary and your experience but will be from £50000 to £75000 per annum. There is also a pension scheme, health insurance, RICS fees and bonus based on the companies performance and your own performance.
