THE ROLE
I am seeking either a Senior Project Manager who is ideally already chartered with the RICS, CIOB, MAPM, MICE, RIBA etc. to join a dynamic firm of construction consultants in Mauritius.
You will work mainly on new projects of high value for hotels, resorts and leisure projects.
My client seeks someone who wants a long term role and will offer good prospects for an ambitious project manager.
THE COMPANY
My client is a large successful firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management and Project Management services to a good range of clients.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Senior Project Manager with some experience of hotels and leisure projects.
You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.
You may be chartered with the RICS, MAPM, RIBA, MICE or similar. You are likely to have a built environment BSc or MSc too.
You must have worked as a Project Manager (in the construction industry) on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.
You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties as a project manager.
Previous experience overseas is not required but you should have five years or more project management experience ideally with a U.K. firm of construction consultants.
You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents, to chair meetings, take minutes etc.
You should be keen to get involved in high value projects and be able to work closely with clients.
This is seen as a long term role and will offer good prospects for an ambitious candidate.
Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience plus allowance for accommodation etc.
