Salary / Rate: £70000 to £80000 per annum + pension, RICS fees, private health insurance and discretionary bonus
THE ROLE
I am seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor at Senior QS level to join a PQS in Bristol.
You will have the opportunity to work on a good range of projects including data centres, offices, depots and residential projects including high end private housing, affordable housing, student accommodation and build to rent properties.
You should be able to run your own projects from feasibility to handover and you will need to have gained good post qualification experience with another firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants.
THE COMPANY
My client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Building Surveying and Project Management services across a range of sectors with projects in the UK with several UK offices.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry who is MRICS qualified.
You will either already be working at senior level or be ready to step up to senior level.
You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants (PQS) or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.
You will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar subject and be MRICS qualified.
You must have worked as a QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.
You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.
You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.
You should be able to run your own projects generally valued from around £5m to £30m with some much larger.
Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience but in the range of £70000 to £80000 plus RICS fees, pension, private health insurance and discretionary bonus etc.
