THE ROLE
This is a great opportunity to join a large firm of construction consultants in their STAFFORDSHIRE office with site trips to London to work on a very large prestigious project.
You will be a Senior Quantity Surveyor either from a PQS background or from a main contractor.
This project will run for another four years and is mainly post contract work with a value left to do of £150m in a number of phases.
Duties will include cost reporting, valuing variations and all other post contract duties.
Although ideally my client would like someone to be based from their Staffordshire office as the rest of the team is there, someone based in London doing trips to Staffordshire would also be possible.

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Project Management and other services.
They are a large firm with offices across the UK and abroad.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager from either a PQS or main contractor.
You will need to have at least six years quantity surveying experience.
You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants, multi disciplinary consultants or a main contractor in the construction industry.
You must have worked as a QS on projects during the post contract stages of projects including doing cost reports.
You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.
Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience but will be in the range of £65000 to £68000 per annum plus car allowance, pension, RICS fees, life insurance and good bonus. Please note that if based in London the base salary will be higher.
