Location: Central London
Salary / Rate: £60000 to £70000 per annum + pension, discretionary bonus etc.
I am now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is preferably MRICS qualified and who has been working for a firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants.
This is a great opportunity to join a large firm of construction consultants in their central London office and to have the opportunity to work on projects including hotels, universities etc.
You will be involved on working on a very large university project from the start, hotels and other projects.
Our client is a successful large firm of consultants offering clients quantity surveying and project management services.
They are working on a good range of generally high value projects in the private and public sectors.
My client has offices in the UK and in Europe.
You will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with at least five years or more Quantity Surveying experience gained working for either a firm of PQS or multi disciplinary firm of construction consultants.
You will work as part of a their busy central London office on projects for hotels including upgrade, refurbishment and new build plus a large university project and others.
You will need to have a good Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying and ideally be MRICS qualified.
You will be involved in both Pre and Post Contract duties on a number of projects including cost planning, tendering, site valuations, cost reporting, cost management and agreement of final accounts.
You will be involved in the full project process from initial client engagement through to project delivery.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with clients.
You should be able to work as a senior project surveyor and run your own projects.
Salary will be very negotiable according to experience and ability plus RICS fees, pension and other benefits.
