Salary / Rate: £55000 to £85000 per annum + pension, RICS fees, bonus and other benefits
THE ROLE
I am seeking M&E Quantity Surveyors at Project Surveyor, Senior Project Surveyor and possibly at Associate level to join a firm of construction consultants (PQS) in the City of London.
You will work on the Mechanical & Electrical services for new build, refurbishment, fit out of high value commercial, workplace, residential, mixed use and retail projects including high rise.
Many of their projects are “landmark” buildings of high value.
THE COMPANY
My client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management and MEP Quantity Surveying services across a range of sectors.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be an M&E Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry.
You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants (PQS) or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.
Ideally you will have a Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying or in Building Services Engineering or similar MEP subject. You may be MRICS qualified or working towards it.
You must have worked as an MEP QS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.
You should have experience of all mechanical and electrical building engineering services.
You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties.
You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents.
Salary is negotiable according to your level of experience but will be in the range of £55000 to £85000 per annum plus pension, RICS fees, health insurance, interest free season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme, perk box, good social does and bonus once or twice per annum.
