THE ROLE

I am seeking a PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER to work on a large power plant project based in the Seattle, Washington area of the USA.

You will run a team of eight project controls engineers and planners so previous team management skills are required.

You will use project management software to including Primavera, MS Project and MS Excel for data analysis.

Your role will include project controls strategy, managing budgets, schedule oversight, risk assessment and mitigation, data analysis and reporting.

THE COMPANY

My client is an international firm of EPC contractors.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a highly experienced Project Controls Manager able to lead a team of eight people.

You will need to have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar construction / engineering subject and a Masters Degree would be a plus.

You must have at least ten years or more in project controls management.

You should have worked on very high value projects in infrastructure, power generation or construction.

You will need to have good experience in the use of Primavera, MS Project and MS Excel for Data Analysis.

You will need to have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and techniques.

You must have proven experience of all project controls functions to include project controls strategy, budget management, schedule oversight, risk assessment and mitigation and data analysis and reporting.

You will need excellent analytical, problem solving and critial thinking skills.

You must have excellent written and spoken English and good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
