Salary / Rate: £55000 to £60000 per annum + pension, health insurance, bonus ++
My client, a busy firm of construction consultants seeks a SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join them in BIRMINGHAM, West Midlands to work on a range of projects for warehouses, logistics buildings, residential including care homes, apartments and for sports and leisure projects.
Projects include new build, fit out and refurbishment.
You will carry out the full range of quantity surveying and cost management duties throughout all stages of the projects from feasibility, cost planning, cost estimating, dealing with tender documentation, contract advise, contract administration, valuations, variations etc.
You will work with a Senior Quantity Surveyor or a Project Surveyor who is keen to step up to Senior level.

My client is a busy firm of construction consultants providing clients with project management, cost management and similar services. They have several UK offices.
You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
You are likely to be MRICS qualified or have good experience of working for a firm of PQS as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager.
You will need to have five years or more relevant quantity surveying experience in the building construction industry preferably gained with another firm of construction consultants / PQS.
You will becoming involved in all aspects of construction projects representing the client from feasibility to handover.
You will be keen to join a growing firm who have remained busy over the last couple of years.
You will need to have a stable work record along with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
It is essential that you have a full UK driving licence along with your own transport as some sites are fairly remote.
Salary will be in the region of £55000 to £60000 depending on your experience and there are a number of benefits including matched pension contribution, one professional fee, health insurance, discretionary bonus, training to become chartered, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays etc.
