THE ROLE
I am seeking an Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor / Construction Economiste to join a firm of construction consultants / PQS working in Paris, France.
You will initially work closely with their client on some Data Centre projects and will also have the opportunity to work on other construction projects for high value buildings too.
You must have excellent client facing skills and good experience of both pre and post contract quantity surveying / construction cost management at all stages of the project.
Previous experience of data centres is not required but an understanding of mechanical and electrical services would be useful.
You will need to speak good French and have good English too.
THE COMPANY
My client is a firm of construction consultants with UK offices plus offices across the E.U.
They provide clients both with cost management and project management services.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be an Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor / Construction Economiste who has a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or similar subject and be keen to join a firm of PQS and have the opportunity to gain experience of working on Data Centres.
You may also be MRICS qualified also this may not be essential.
You will have done pre and post contract work and worked on high value construction projects of various types.
Good or fluent French is essential and someone with good English is also required.
Salary is very negotiable according to experience but probably in the region of c. Euro 75000 to 130000 per annum plus bonus etc. Please note that the top end of the salary would be applicable for someone with some experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor on data centres.
