THE ROLE

I am seeking a Quantity Surveyor who is either almost at APC level through to recently chartered candidates to join a firm of PQS in central London.

You will work have the opportunity to work on a good range of projects to include commercial offices, hotels, leisure, prime residential and education.

If you are not yet chartered my client has an assessor who comes regularly to help with your APC training. If you are already chartered they offer ongoing support and training to move your career along.

THE COMPANY

My client is a busy firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management and Project Monitoring services for projects mainly in London and occasionally abroad.

My client gains a lot of repeat business by providing a good service to known companies.

They offer a tailor made service to each client.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry.

You will need to be working for another U.K. firm of construction consultants (PQS) or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.

You need to have a minimum of two years PQS experience and be working towards taking the APC or have recently become MRICS qualified.

You must have worked as a PQS on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover and have done all pre and post contract work.

You must have excellent English to write formal reports and documents and have a stable work record.

Salary is negotiable around £45000 to £65000 per annum according to your level of experience plus RICS fees, pension, discretionary bonus.
